Sep 3, 2019 The final annual data for 2018 from Form EIA-860, Annual Electric Generator Data, are now available. The 2018 data include an additional 931 plants representing 38,685 megawatts of capacity.
Sep 3, 2019 The September 2019 Petroleum Marketing Monthly (PMM), with data through June 2019, presents monthly and annual price and volume statistics covering crude oil and refined petroleum products sales in the United States. " Additionally, state motor fuels tax information with rates in effect as of July 1, 2019 is available on the PMM website.
Aug 30, 2019 In June 2019, for the 26th consecutive month, dry natural gas production increased year to year for the month. The preliminary level for dry natural gas production in June 2019 was 2,735 billion cubic feet (Bcf), or 91.2 Bcf/d. This level was 9.4 Bcf/d (11.5%) higher than the June 2018 level of 81.8 Bcf/d. The average daily rate of dry production was the highest for any month since EIA began tracking monthly dry production in 1997.

Aug 26, 2019 The U.S. Energy Information Administration released its annual fuel ethanol production capacity report. The new report contains data for all operating U.S. fuel ethanol production plants as of January 1, 2019.
Aug 26, 2019 This month’s Electric Monthly Update contains data for June 2019, and the feature article discusses how residential electricity prices have increased slightly since June 2017 and how these changes have varied by region.
Aug 26, 2019 Data in the August 2019 Electric Power Monthly (EPM) are for June 2019. During that month, net generation in the United States fell 5.6% from the June 2018 level. Consumption of natural gas for power generation was up 3.1% compared with June 2018. The average residential retail price of electricity for June 2019 was up 2.3% from June 2018.
Aug 21, 2019 The Prime Supplier Report presents data through June 2019 on Form EIA-782C, Monthly Report of Prime Supplier Sales of Petroleum Products Sold for Local Consumption. These data measure primary product deliveries into the states where they are locally marketed and consumed.
Aug 21, 2019 EIA launched a beta release of its new Hourly Electric Grid Monitor, a redesigned and enhanced version of the existing U.S. Electric System Operating Data website. The data come from Form EIA-930, Hourly and Daily Balancing Authority Operations Report, which collects hourly electricity demand, forecast demand, net generation, and interchange data from the electricity balancing authorities that operate the electric grid in the Lower 48 states. The Hourly Electric Grid Monitor incorporates two new data elements: hourly electricity generation by energy source and hourly subregional demand.
Aug 20, 2019 The U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) estimates that members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) earned almost $711 billion in net oil export revenue in 2018; however, EIA forecasts annual OPEC net oil export revenue will decline to $593 billion in 2019 and to $556 billion in 2020 as a result of decreasing production among a number of OPEC producers.
